As we start to kick off this blog, I thought I would introduce myself, the business, what we have to offer short-term rental owners, as well as what you’ll see here on this particular blog.
Hi, I’m Maddie, the owner of Northern Point Property Management. Welcome everyone!
We are located in the Kawartha Lakes area giving us a wide range of areas to best serve you.
I started this business a little over 3 years ago as a small cleaning team of 2, which has expanded into much more since.
Already located on: Ston(e)y, Clear, Chemong, Buckhorn, Pigeon, and Sandy lake.
But eagerly waiting to take on new areas within the Kawartha Lakes.
With the help of our cleaning team now we are able to take care of your STRs in many different ways. This includes guest messaging, reviews, bookings, promotional offers, marketing guidance with our own graphic designer who is able to create extensive tools, along with book keeping guidance. Always expanding our talents, and team members makes our team ready to aid in any job.
We are committed to making our properties stand out among the rest. With quick response times, active changes, and hospitality among the rest. We are sure to boost your ratings, increase traffic flow, and guarantee guests have a lovely stay. On top of all that we aid in scheduling contractors, making sure your properties are seasonal ready, and help build a routine schedule for all your maintenance needs.
Now that I’ve sold you on the business, let’s talk about blog posts! Our aim for the blog posts is much more than your average blogs, we want to be a forum of help for other STR owners in the area as well as across the country. We will provide some helpful tips and tricks for navigating the world of short term rentals. From big to small, we will give guidance, answer questions, talk about seasonal changes, and provide insights on customer demands within the area of Kawartha Lakes. As we are located in Ontario, Canada, and many changes are evolving in the short-term rental world we will do our best to update new rules and regulations based on the Kawartha lake area as well.
Each of our properties are unique to themselves, we service homes from ranging 1000 sq/ft to 10,000 sq/ft, that have an array of amenities including but not limited to; indoor pools, saunas, hot tubs, all-year around sun porches. We believe each property will stand out on their own if owners follow our guides when choosing which amenities are right for them. For example, there is no reason for a pool if you have pristine waterfront, instead a hot tub would be better suited for you. Thinking about a bunkie? But your guests don’t have outdoor seating, adding more rooms may not fix your low flow of guests.
To follow along with all our tips we will be offering a free tip guide for STR owners for advancing their STR rentals. There will be so much to discover in this ebook. From your regular cleaning tips, to small additions geared towards providing 5 star stays, our tip guide is sure to offer guidance, and advancements ensuring your home is of top quality to stand out among a broad market.
